the overall health of your mouth. We actively encourage
all of our patients to do the amount of care that their mouth
requires in order to maximize oral health. There are many
devices to help in the daily régime of oral health.

The known tools of the trade, such as brushing and flossing, have now grown to include; electric toothbrushes, electric flossers, rubber tip stimulators, sulcular brushes, tongue cleaners, gum irrigators (i.e. WaterPik), and mouthwashes.
We can assist you in determining what products are best for you.

Flossing - Cleaning between teeth.
Often flossing is neglected due to the difficulty of manually
flossing between the teeth. We now have alternatives to manual
flossing that can help people keep these important areas
between their teeth clean. The hummingbird is an electric flosser
that will assist in cleaning between the teeth.

Brushing - electric power assisted toothbrushes can
remove 98% of plaque.
Studies have shown that electric toothbrushes are significantly
more efficient at removing plaque and improving gingival health
than manual toothbrushes. Patients who readily build up plaque
resulting in gingivitis can benefit most from the daily use of
electric powered toothbrushes.

A growing body of evidence indicates that oral irrigation with
water has therapeutic benefits and can improve adult
periodontitis in as little as 14 days. We recommend that our
patients boost this process by adding a herbal tooth and gums
irrigant (Herbal Tonic) to the water when doing oral irrigation.
