we achieve high quality cosmetic results.

In order to accomplish these goals we employ State-of-the-Art dental techniques and materials along with understanding both you and your family's health situation. Combined with proper home care and other preventative actions, we truly offer an holistic approach to dental care along with a high quality cosmetic results.
Dental Procedures: Restorative & Cosmetic Dentistry
Holistic dentistry focuses on using biocompatible dental materials in patient treatments to reduce possible toxic overload and allergic reactions, especially for those who are chemically sensitive. Our practice is "amalgam free" or "mercury free" due to the concern about possible toxicity problems. Amalgam
Removal and replacement with natural-looking bonded materials is a specialty of our practice.
Along with our holistic approach to dentistry, we continue to provide our patients with exceptional cosmetic results. Cosmetic dentistry refers to a natural and attractive look, through techniques such as bonding, veneers, crowns, caps, and more. All of this can be done using materials that are biocompatible with the patient while employing state-of-the-art dental techniques.
Filling Materials currently there are hundreds of different types of composite resins and porcelain/ceramic materials used for fillings, inlays, onlays, crowns and veneers. Composite Resin Dental Fillings are made of a plastic dental resin which consists of tiny glass particles suspended in a resin (plastic) matrix, and when bonded into place actually strengthen the tooth. Bonded porcelain/ceramic materials are used to restore teeth with large cavities, teeth that are fractured, or have older failing restorations.
Drill-Less Dentistry uses Air Abrasion technology and functions much like sandblasting, by blowing a powerful air stream of tiny particles onto the tooth structure. Compared to regular dental drilling, the Air Abrasion process is quieter and eliminates much of the discomfort of the conventional drill and can be used without anesthetics!
The CEREC System is used for fabricating porcelain/ceramic restorations (Crowns, Onlays, and Inlays) in only one appointment. Studies show that a tooth restored by the CEREC system has 103% to 115% of the strength of a "virgin" tooth! Furthermore, bonded porcelain/ceramic restorations can be matched to the exact colour of the other teeth, providing an exceptional cosmetic result.
We help to replace missing teeth with Bridges that are constructed with non-metal products and also offer patients a full service Denture Clinic.
Dental Implants are used to replace one or more missing teeth, or to stabilize dentures.
The implant acts like the root of a natural tooth, and bone actually forms around a special coating on the implant to hold the implant firmly in place. In cases where there are multiple missing teeth, or where the patient has previously had dentures, multiple implants are placed in the mouth to allow for implant-supported dental restorations.
Consultations
During consultations we gain a solid understanding of your needs, which leads to developing an action plan or strategy to maximize the value from dental treatments. We pride ourselves in getting to know you as a person and then provide effective knowledgeable advice.
Cleaning & Re-care Exams
Evaluating teeth with Diagnodent, which using a sophisticated laser light system, can help identify early detection of tooth decay. This process can find very small cavities with pinpoint accuracy. Detection at this early stage enables us to preserve more of the tooth, as well as apply
Drill-less dentistry.
Cleaning with
Ultrasonic Scaling can help to remove plaque, tartar, and reduce bacterial count below the gum line.
Home Care
As you would expect, home care is a big part of maintaining the overall health of your mouth. We actively encourage all of our patients to do the amount of care that their mouth requires in order to maximize oral health. There are many devices that can help in the daily régime of oral health, such as electric powered toothbrushes and flossers, plus oral irrigation (WaterPik). |
